Orege signs a new deal to sell its SLG® solution to Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority

Voisins-le-Bretonneux, 9 May 2018, 8:30am – Orege announces that it has signed a contract to sell an SLG® solution to Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority (TRWRA) for around $260k.

TRWRA is one of the largest municipal wastewater treatment plants in New Jersey. Based in Monmouth Beach, at the heart of a residential community that is very sensitive to environmental issues, it collects and treats wastewater from six neighboring towns, covering the equivalent of 100,000 inhabitants, and has previously demonstrated its commitment to clean technologies making it possible to save natural resources.

Michael Gianforte, TRWRA Executive Director:

“We have chosen to implement the SLG® solution for its outstanding performance capabilities, enabling us to reduce our sludge transport costs. These costs represent a major expense for us and we had been looking for a suitable solution to reduce them for a long time. The SLG® solution is perfectly aligned with our environmentally responsible approach, giving us more effective control over the risks associated with the conditioning of our sludge. We expect this project to deliver a return on investment within four years”.

The SLG® solution will be rolled out on-site during the summer.

This contract will further strengthen Orege’s presence in New Jersey, where the Company already supports several operators with sludge conditioning. Faced with the same financial and environmental challenges as TRWRA, a number of other municipalities across the region have already expressed an interest in deploying the SLG® solution.
This new contract also confirms the outstanding potential for developing SLG® solutions in the US.
